Before becoming a realtor, I worked in business management and marketing in both the private and public sectors, and was an experienced yoga teacher. I attended Yale and Harvard, earning my BA and MA in art history respectively. Monica is a native New Mexican, born in Gallup and raised in Phoenix and has a degree from Northern Arizona University.  She has lived in Albuquerque for more than 25 years.

She bought her first home when she was 22 on the Westside, it has grown so much since then. She has lived in and experienced the Westside, Northeast Heights, Albuquerque Country Club, Southwest Mesa and now, Nob Hill. Each area has its charm and she knows them well.

After spending time as a Commercial Broker, specializing in Industrial Warehouses, she spent 16 years as a Vice President of a local manufacturing firm. At a point and time in her life where she could choose how and with whom she wanted to spend her time, she chose Residential Real Estate.

She has been lucky enough to raise her two children here in Albuquerque. Her daughter now attends UNM and her son will start at Albuquerque High School in the fall. When she is not working, you will find her on the many golf courses we boast, or at the lake with her family.

She truly believes that giving back to your community is the best way to make it better. She is a board member and director with Del Norte Rotary. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 4 years, PTA President, Affiliate member of the American Institute of Architects, and member of NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate) since 1995.
