Our brokerage has grown exponentially over the few short years since its founding, doing so by attracting associate brokers and staff that share our customer-centric values. These building blocks are what put us in the forefront of the real estate market; we believe in finding the best systems to operate, implementing them in our offices, and training our brokers on the “how-tos” of this modern real estate business model.
IT ALL STARTED HERE…
JESSICA & SETH BEECHER | FOUNDERS
Jessica and Seth have worked together in the Real Estate industry for over 15 years. They made their first entrepreneurial move in real estate back in 2005 when they founded The Source Mortgage in conjunction with The Source Realty. After years as independent brokers, they wanted to be able to provide their clients with the best technology and services that the industry had to offer so they founded RE/MAX SELECT in Historic Nob Hill in the spring of 2013. Focusing on quality over quantity, they began to get the attention of other forward thinking brokers around town and they began to slowly grow by design. When they saw inefficiencies in the brokerage models around Albuquerque they developed systems and tools to stack with the robust offering they had from RE/MAX International to save time and money for their agents.
As a certified negotiation expert and years of in depth experience Jessica is able to help our associate brokers through difficult contract negotiations, objection handling, marketing ideas, and time management. Her goal is to stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and offer mentorship/coaching that helps our brokers reach new heights in their careers.
Seth is constantly learning and seeking out innovative new ways to help our brokers accomplish more and achieve a better quality of life. He is continually improving our tech offerings and training the brokers how to fully utilize our tools and systems.
Now with 80 agents and 5 offices, RE/MAX SELECT is the number one producing RE/MAX brokerage in New Mexico and the Number One producing per broker office in the Albuquerque metro area.
Jessica, Seth & the RE/MAX SELECT team are constantly trying to improve the home buying and selling process for our brokers and their clients. Seeking new ways to market and serve clients, to deliver the outstanding results people have come to expect from our office.

You might call Scott Dean of ABQ Home Search, RE/MAX SELECT a purist. Whether he’s selling homes or backpacking in the mountains, Scott is all there—focused, present, and absolute. For 25 years, he’s been a full-time REALTOR® in Albuquerque, with an uncompromising commitment to every transaction and client. The former landscaper never intended to stay in New Mexico or get into real estate, but a road trip stop-off left him enchanted by the weather, culture, and endless recreation. Despite not being a salesperson, Scott discovered he’s a fantastic advisor—the perfect personality for guiding people through the real estate process.
He’s helped hundreds of buyers and sellers realize their unique home dream. With his market knowledge and experience, Scott provides his clients all the necessary information and support to make the right decision for their lifestyle. As an expert advisor, his measure of success is finding the right home for the client, regardless of price. Scott likes his real estate role helping people, but he also appreciates the opportunity to turn that off—unplug and recharge in his own space, on his own time.
Real estate allows Scott to feed both parts of himself—the driven Qualifying Broker and 2019 REALTOR® of the Year who loves meeting his clients’ goals of buying or selling, and the nature-loving adventurer who thrives off the grid. An avid outdoorsman, Scott spends his time away from work mountain biking, hiking, camping, backpacking, trail running, and training for quadrathlons.
When Scott is in broker-mode, he’s all-in, focused on best serving his clients and furthering his knowledge and understanding of the market and business. A dedicated volunteer, Scott has served many realty organizations over the last 24 years; everything from former president of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® and the Southwest Multiple Listing Service, to a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Strategic Planning Committee and Chair of the Forms Committee for the New Mexico Association of REALTORS®. In addition to fueling a desire to give back to the industry, he recognizes the opportunity to learn and gain valuable market knowledge, enabling him to give more to his clients and provide a better experience.
Marsha Eker
Marsha is a Native New Mexican; born and raised in Santa Fe. She moved to Albuquerque in 1979 and started a career with the Mountain Bell Telephone Company. She spent the last 15 years there as a Manger responsible for creating, writing and training Methods & Procedures for the 14-state region. After 30 years she retired and obtained her Real Estate License. Marsha is our Compliance Manager and is currently responsible for training new Broker’s on our paperless document systems and Compliance Review. She loves working in the Real Estate industry and having the ability to work everyday with buyer’s, seller’s and our Broker’s.
Marsha works primarily from home which allows her to spend time with her husband, Darrell, and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys baking and often treats the office to some of her delicacies!
